Audio installation with vacuum bell, vacuum pump, speakers.
The installation stems from a collaboration between artists Sofian Biazzi, Jiangyue Guo and physicist Rosanna Deckert on emptiness, vacuum, and what remains when air is withdrawn. It translates these reflections into experiments on sound propagation in a vacuum chamber, using loudspeakers and microphones under changing pressure.
